To be understood as meant and not as assumed is what drives me to express my opinion or to clarify a brain-washing. With the mass media and Internet capabilities the process of illumination begins with self preservation and conviction. Mankind has a perogative to gravitate toward relativity and reject or deny the unknown. This is a global dysfunction of our dominion and power awarded by THE ALMIGHTY.
Learning is an eternity of experiences and mistakes, our reaction or response to such is a denomination to the process of knowing. Without that which is becomes that which is not since we abhor what seems different or odd. Strange is beyond different because it is unknown different is similar in knowledge separate in process.
These are my own findings of situations and events that transferred thought and theory into reality. Fatima's perspective. It is common sense from the view of my soul evolved from the torments and achievements of my physical being. Throughout life I gravitated toward short-cuts and immediate acceptance. During my process of knowing I developed insane theories and validated them with manipulated literature and media influence.
The purpose of this blog to illuminate the darkness if so chosen to be explored. Otherwise its rhetoric redesigned.
From a web site: http://www.thenation.com/doc/20090921/blumenthal/3 an article opens Pandora's box to do just what the author is attempting to condemn (brain-washing)as am I. Webster's New World Dictionary with student handbook on the word brain-washed,
"to indoctrinate so intensively and thoroughly as to effect a radical transformation of beliefs." Isn't that what I just said? From this site: "The following is an excerpt from Max Blumenthal's new book, Republican Gommorah: Inside the Movement That Shattered the Party, published by Nation Books." following the title: " The Nightmare of Christianity (Page 3) ". Perhaps this page was chosen to inform the world that extremism is a quality possessed by mankind and we need be aware of the consequences that trail the actions of our opinions. That's my agenda anyway. The article posts:
"By failing to explore the roots of Murray's violence, the mainstream media allowed the far right to seize the narrative. Relying on the insights of pastor Joe Schimmel, a sixties rock burnout who resolved after becoming born again "to show how Satanism can influence youth through music," the far-right web magazine WorldNetDaily reported that Murray "had sold his soul" to the occult and "another devil: rock and roll." An earlier WorldNetDaily report on Murray's killing spree buttressed its analysis with the conclusion of an anonymous commenter on a Rocky Mountain News forum: "Two words: DEMONIC POSSESSION.
While the national press clamored for an exclusive interview with Murray's parents, the couple quietly arranged to meet with a psychologist who could help them prepare a satisfactory explanation for their son's acts--and one devoid of the hard truths Winell attempted to tell. On February 27, 2008, the Murrays were escorted onto Focus on the Family's compound, led into its lower recesses, and seated, in an elegantly appointed radio studio, at a table across from James Dobson. Now they poured forth their version of their son's descent into madness. "The lesson is that unforgiveness leads to this bitterness and then opens you up to the spirit of Satan, to the spirit of whatever, and when that occurs, it becomes a power that people cannot control," said Murray's father Ronald, a neurologist. Dobson was careful not to press the Murrays further for insights into their son's pathology. Blaming Satan was always safer than excessive reflection. "We can't explain it, we can't understand," Dobson declared. "We say, 'Lord, someday we will understand, but today we don't.'
There was really little else Dobson could say. Murray's parents were not neglectful of their son, nor were they intentionally abusive. By all accounts, they raised him in faithful accordance with the teachings of the Christian right's leading self-help gurus. In their cloistered world, where home-schooling is viewed as an ideal alternative to "government schools," and where the rod is rarely spared, they were model parents. Murray's killing spree thus reflected less on his parents than on the all-encompassing authoritarian culture that Dobson had helped to shape. When practiced in the real world, the movement's "family values" sometimes produced some unusually dysfunctional families. Only by blaming Satan and his minions for Murray's acts could the Christian right avoid acknowledging this absolutely damning indictment of its ideology. "
Sounds like everyone can attest to the charges of blame as identified through our ancestors Adam and Eve in the Garden following their disobedience to ALMIGHTY GOD. Adam blamed Eve, she blamed the serpent and the serpent blamed GOD.
I have sat in judgment numerous times and felt vindicated when justice prevailed but humiliated and begrudged if justice failed. Someone has to win and the other loses. Accountability is the key to prevailed justice. It eliminates the process of proving beyond the doubt to the process of forgiveness and healing.
If you have followed my blogs, you are aware that I too was a teen that rebelled and blamed my superiors for my failures and took credit for the common and natural. It took years of do overs and re do's to recognize my own actions and faults. Once I assumed responsibility for my actions healing began and forgiveness came easily. Forced forgiveness ushers bitterness, blindness and vindictiveness.
I was lost as to what this article was about and did extensive research to finally find: http://www.religioustolerance.org/chu_viol4a.htm
"Are Christians being targeted for violence?
About mass murderer Matthew Murraywho killed 5 and injured 6 in Colorado
Matthew J. Murray, 24, of Englewood, CO, killed five people (including himself) and injured six during two attacks on the same day at two religious locations -- one near Denver, and the other in Colorado Springs, CO. He may have selected the Youth With a Mission Center near Denver (YWAM) as his first target because he had trained there as a missionary before being rejected by them in 2003. He may have chosen the New Life Church in Colorado Springs as his second target because it is the largest Charismatic congregation in Colorado, and he seems to have wanted to kill as many Charismatic Christians as possible. In addition, he apparently attended a seminar there with his mother on at least one occasion. His attacks may have been indirectly linked to a mass murder by a 19 year-old gunman at a mall in Omaha, NE on 2007-DEC-05.
At some time between 2003 and 2007 Matthew became disillusioned with Pentecostal and Charismatic Christianity -- two movements within conservative Protestantism. "
It took me until my late 30's to arrive at the process of knowing myself. Not the preconceived projections inherited from previous naive beings searching for a place to belong and finding a mirage of charities, clubs and societies to penetrate their innocence with conflicted and contradicting rhetoric. Choose wisely by applying productive and patience to your menu. I realize that what once seemed "strict or mean" was genuine sacrifice and love attempting to sway me from rebelling and I was blinded by ignorance and brain-washings from multiple individuals with agenda's conflicting with my own. I had the same if not worst visions of crime, death, violence and hatred but had a real sense of respect for A GOD WHO could CREATE the world and everything in it. I flirted with suicide but that same respect for THE CREATOR would deter my attempts which eventually became outbursts for attention.
We can blame the media for broadcasting murders with no commendation or derivative. We can blame his parents for being fanatics or society for being so vastly evil that multiple negative energies permeated the vulnerability and low esteem of a developing individual. We can blame me for not having utilized the talents of knowledge and situations to deter the brain-washing into constructive criticism.
It was not my parents fault that I encountered some of the things that I did that ushered my thoughts and I've learned appreciation of their choice of life over abortion.
Religion, video games, sports, fraternities are all instruments to offer opportunities for learning and our response dictates our knowledge. Christianity cannot be the leverage of accountability for murderes no more than music can be blamed for the same. Otherwise all teens would respond and react this way. Responsibility and Accountability are essential to compromise and respect. A student of religion and its effects on the starving mind, I know that the information provided in the hands of an abused or demented mind is the culprit not the social entity that merely offered opportunity for dialogue and experience. Dictationship and criminal activities are chosen behavoirs enhanced by knowledge or the lack of.
If the religions would practice what they preach and preach what GOD MEANT and not their spin on it THE WORD would serve it's purpose, it does not return to GOD void.
From another site: http://news.aol.com/article/anne-morell-petrillo-jumps "
Tragic End for Slain Heiress' Daughter
Suicide Victim Member of Scripps Newspaper Family. Police said Sunday they believe they've recovered the body of a woman whose suicidal jump from a suburban New York City bridge echoed her stepfather's plunge from it 15 years ago after a grisly family murder.
State Police Sgt. Todd Parent said the body found Sunday afternoon in the Hudson River is believed to be that of Anne Morell Petrillo.
Witnesses saw Petrillo stop her car on the Tappan Zee Bridge and jump Thursday. She left a note. A source told the Daily News in New York that the note said, "I love everyone, but this is what I want."
Petrillo was the daughter of slain newspaper heiress Anne Scripps Douglas. Her stepfather, Scott Douglas, leaped to his death from the bridge in 1994 after killing her mother with a claw hammer. The family founded The Detroit News.
"The murder set the tone for her entire life," the source told the Daily News. "She had threatened suicide in the past, but no one thought she would actually go through with it."
Police say the Rockland County medical examiner's office will make the official identification.

Is God perfect? If so, how did the devil get out of heaven. This all supposedly happened before man was created. An angel was jealous of God and God cast this angel out of heaven creating Hell and Satan. So, if God wouldn't have done this then there would never have been a serpent there to decieve Eve, and then Adam. God, thus, is not perfect."
I don't recall any mention of GOD, angels, Satan, Adam or Eve. Yet, this individual apparently scarred from the same jargon and daily repetitive rhetoric vented at GOD regarding a young lady that killed herself in the same location as a stepfather that had bludgeoned her mother. The intesity of this person's soul cries out for assistance in understanding tragedy and its effects on humanity. Someone has obviously declared social acceptance by way of GOD and misrepresented GOD and left this individual mad at GOD for the denial of a person claiming to be an ambassador or replica of HIM. Brain-washing is common and accepted and that is also an experience and information. The consequences are another topic and deserve careful approach and those in view of their rhetoric should be held responsible for the misconception and maybe then real editing and regulations will come into play. Is Christianity a target yes and so is chocolate, coffee, abortion and the colors red and blue. However it is everyones responsibility to he careful with their choices and held accountable for the damages to others. GOD instituted law in order to give observance to right and wrong and then HE SENT IMMANUEL(Isaiah 07:14/08:08) to Redeem man from the fall in the garden. Every religion claims to be the truth and have variant observances and rituals that conflict and divide, but there is only ONE GOD, ONE FAITH, ONE humanity. We must put aside indifference and develope unity collectively with respect for one another and life and living. Division and conflict births wars and murder not religion or brain-washing. Pride to the extreme and lack of respect usher division not titles and organizing. Choose wise, decifer spiritually and live peaceably not condemn, tear down and humiliate.

Dance like David danced
When I think of worship I envision the Spirit of Israel's second appointed and Anointed King(2. Samuel 02:01-07/2. Samuel 05:01-05). Biblical David is described as "a man after GOD'S OWN HEART(1. Samuel 13:14/Acts 13:22)". I also reflect on a scene from the movie, "Crazy as hell" when the character known as "Satan" does a solo dance performance to the song, "pick up the pieces". The form and movement of this character bought every note of music to life.
Scripture informs us that Saul's(Israel's first appointed King) daughter and David's wife Michal despised the dance performance of David toward his GOD(2. Samuel 06:16-23).
"Then David returned to bless his household. And Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David, and said, 'How glorious was the king of Israel today uncovering himself in the eyes of the maids of his servants, as one of the base fellows shamelessly uncovers himself!'
So David said to Michal, 'It was before THE LORD, WHO CHOSE me instead of your father and all his house, to APPOINT me Ruler over the people of THE LORD, over Israel. Therefore I will play music before THE LORD. And I will be even more undignified than this, and will be humble in my own sight. But as for the maidservants of whom you have spoken, by them I will be held in honor." Therefore Michal the daughter of Saul had no children to the day of her death.(verses 20-23)".
David was dedicated to Worship ALMIGHTY GOD whenever he was presented an opportunity. He played the harp to console King Saul as a young shepherd boy. He is considered the author of many of the Psalms recorded in Scripture but the display of rage and jealousy from his wife because of his efforts to submit his whole body and soul to please THE GOD of his youth, truly an epitome of Worship. David danced, Noah built, Job suffered and JESUS death all represent Worship. Giving GOD the GLORY for WHO HIS IS and WHAT HE ACCOMPLISHES.
David proclaimed, Michal can be shamed but he and the servants would humble themselves before THE LORD and Worship HIM. Deal with it!
I searched the net to get an understanding of dance and worship and found:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dance
"Dance (from French danser, perhaps from Frankish) is a sport and art form that generally refers to movement of the body, usually rhythmic and to music,[1] used as a form of expression, social interaction or presented in a spiritual or performance setting.
Dance may also to regarded as a form of nonverbal communication between humans, and is also performed by other animals (bee dance, patterns of behaviour such as a mating dance). Gymnastics, figure skating and synchronized swimming are sports dance disciplines, while martial arts kata are often compared to dances. Motion in inanimate objects may also be described as dances (the leaves danced in the wind), and certain musical forms or genres.
Definitions of what constitutes dance are dependent on social, cultural, aesthetic, artistic and moral constraints and range from functional movement (such as folk dance) to virtuoso techniques such as ballet. Dance can be participatory, social or performed for an audience. It can also be ceremonial, competitive or erotic. Dance movements may be without significance in themselves, such as in ballet or European folk dance, or have a gestural vocabulary/symbolic system as in many Asian dances. Dance can embody or express ideas, emotions or tell a story.
Dancing has evolved many styles. Breakdancing and Krumping are related to the hip hop culture. African dance is interpretive. Ballet, Ballroom, Waltz, and Tango are classical styles of dance while Square and the Electric Slide are forms of step dances.
Every dance, no matter what style, has something in common. It not only involves flexibility and body movement, but also physics. If the proper physics is not taken into consideration, injuries may occur.
Dance categories by number of interacting dancers are mainly solo dance, partner dance and group dance. Dance is performed for various purposes like ceremonial dance, erotic dance, performance dance, social dance etc.
Dancing and music
See also: Category:Music genres
Many early forms of music and dance were created and performed together. This paired development has continued through the ages with dance/music forms such as: jig, waltz, tango, disco, salsa, electronica and hip-hop. Some musical genres also have a parallel dance form such as baroque music and baroque dance whereas others developed separately: classical music and classical ballet.
Although dance is often accompanied by music, it can also be presented independently or provide its own accompaniment (tap dance). Dance presented with music may or may not be performed in time to the music depending on the style of dance. Dance performed without music is said to be danced to its own rhythm.
Ballroom dancing is an art although it may incorporates many fitness components using an artistic state of mind.
Choreography is the art of creating dances. The person who creates (i.e., choreographs) a dance is known as the choreographer.
Origins and history of dance
Main article: History of dance
Eighteenth century social dance. Translated caption: A cheerful dance awakens love and feeds hope with lively joy, (Florence, 1790).
Dance does not leave behind clearly identifiable physical artifacts such as stone tools, hunting implements or cave paintings. It is not possible to say when dance became part of human culture. Dance has certainly been an important part of ceremony, rituals, celebrations and entertainment since before the birth of the earliest human civilizations. Archeology delivers traces of dance from prehistoric times such as the 9,000 year old Rock Shelters of Bhimbetka paintings in India and Egyptian tomb paintings depicting dancing figures from circa 3300 BC.
One of the earliest structured uses of dances may have been in the performance and in the telling of myths. It was also sometimes used to show feelings for one of the opposite gender. It is also linked to the origin of "love making." Before the production of written languages, dance was one of the methods of passing these stories down from generation to generation. [2]
Another early use of dance may have been as a precursor to ecstatic trance states in healing rituals. Dance is still used for this purpose by many cultures from the Brazilian rainforest to the Kalahari Desert.[3]
Sri Lankan dances goes back to the mythological times of aboriginal yingyang twins and "yakkas" (devils). According to a Sinhalese legend, Kandyan dances originate, 250 years ago, from a magic ritual that broke the spell on a bewitched king. Many contemporary dance forms can be traced back to historical, traditional, ceremonial, and ethnic dance."
A search for worship produced from the same site:
"Worship literally means "worth-ship". Giving worth to something.[1] In its older sense in English of worthiness or respect (Anglo-Saxon,worthscripe), worship may on occasion refer to an attitude towards someone of immensely elevated social status, such as a lord or a monarch, or, more loosely, towards an individual, such as a hero or one's lover.
'Worship' is quite often used to refer to acts, expressions and/or a state of religious devotion typically directed to one or more deities.
Evelyn Underhill defines worship thus: "The adoring acknowledgment of all that lies beyond us—the glory that fills heaven and earth. It is the response that conscious beings make to their Creator, to the Eternal Reality from which they came forth; to God, however they may think of Him or recognize Him, and whether He be realized through religion, through nature, through history, through science, art, or human life and character."[2]
An expression of worship may be performed individually, or corporately within informal groups, or a formal meeting, or Representative, by a designated leader. Religious worship can occur in a variety of locations including houses, rented venues, out in the open, or in purpose-built structures identified as places of worship. Many religious traditions place an emphasis on regular worship and may organize meetings for the purpose at frequent intervals, often daily or weekly. Expressions of worship vary between faiths but typically include one or more of the following:
prayer; sacrifice; rituals; meditation; holidays, festivals; sacraments; pilgrimages; participatory or observed music or singing; dance; dining; fasting; public readings; listening to a public talk or sermon; the construction of temples or shrines; the creation of idols of the deity; private acts of devotion."
Can you picture David leaping and swirling gracefully to the rhythm of tambourines and cymbals honoring THE LORD for the triumphs and tribulations that confirmed GOD'S APPROVAL of David as King?
However, David was also human and sometimes his zeal for the level of achievement under GOD'S DIRECTION led David to depend on himself and he would find himself without GOD'S PROTECTION or APPROVAL.
David would connive and manipulate, deceive and murder. He disobeyed GOD by counting the camp and commiting adultery as well as constructing the murder of the husband of the woman with whom he sinned. Eventually losing his reign and the building of a Temple for GOD to his son Solomon who would eventually fall into the same sins of his father allowing the worship of foreign gods.
The reason David gained the title, "man after MY OWN HEART" was because he was Repentant. Upon realizing his error he would fall into Repentance and Worship.
He wouldn't call everyone who would listen and speak depression and self pity into existence thereby giving power to negative energy while denying positivity. His response was to relent, repent and restore his role of leader by the authority of the ALMIGHTY GOD(Psalm 51 entirely).
Another testiment to the relationship between GOD and Israel's King David is evidenced by the compassion and emotion poured out of a song David wrote in Psalm 68, "Let GOD arise, Let HIS enemies be scattered; Let those also who hate HIM flee before HIM. As smoke is driven away, So drive them away; As wax melts before the fire, So let the wicked perish at the PRESENCE OF GOD. But let the Righteous be glad; Let them Rejoice before GOD; Yes, let them Rejoice exceedingly.
Sing to GOD, sing Praises to HIS Name; Extol HIM WHO RIDES ON THE CLOUDS, By HIS NAME YAH, And Rejoice before HIM. A Father of the fatherless, a defender of widows is GOD in HIS HOLY HABITATION."
Let us dance like David danced and love like JESUS LOVED and the energy will transform the residue into recycled praise. Find common ground and begin healing from that point. Welcome change and embrace the unknown with compassion and worship.

THE TRUTH SHALL SET YOU FREE
The ability to reflect is to visit previous experiences for reference or clarification. A tool that opens Pandora's box in emotions and sins or reactions to such. Excelling into the knowledge of my spirit and permitting it to redefine my prior defiance and degradation, I encourage reflection and suggest healing through repentance and faith. Acknowledge "Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen(Hebrews 11:01)." It is the inner realization of trust and the reward of believing.
The Apostle Paul further explains, "By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by THE WORD OF GOD, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible(Hebrews 11:02)." Paul gives testimony of Old Testament Faith through mankind, Abel, Abraham, Enoch, Noah, Sarah even the harlot Rahab amongst others.
It is the faith of various kinds that permit us to believe in a statement or news report. Paul declares his own faith in the first chapter of Romans verses 16, 17. "For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of CHRIST, for it is the POWER OF GOD to Salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek(non-Jew). For in it THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD is Revealed from faith to faith, as it is written, 'The just shall live by faith(Habakkuk 02:04)." The author of the book of Hebrews states, "By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, and was not found, because GOD had taken him(Genesis 05:24)'; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that pleased GOD.
But without faith it is impossible to please GOD, for he who comes to GOD must believe that HE IS, and that HE is a REWARDER of those who diligently seek him(Hebrews 11:05,).
Taking faith for granted just as we do everything that we encounter if not responding to please GOD.
GOD IS LOVE(1. John 04:08), Love covers a multitude of faults(Proverbs 10O12 ) and we are "ambassadors for CHRIST"(Proverbs 13:08, 2. Corinthians 05:20) should be foundation toward building your faith because the fact that "GOD so LOVED the world that HE GAVE HIS only BEGOTTEN SON, that whosoever believes in HIM should not perish but have everlasting life. For GOD did not SEND HIS SON to condemn the world, but that the world through HIM might be SAVED(John 03:16, 17)" ought to be the grounds for your faith.
The way to increase your faith is to listen to THE WORD OF GOD and not ideology or rhetoric of mankind. The Scripture informs us that "not all will believe" in the 10th chapter of Romans verses 14-21. There it is explained "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by THE WORD OF GOD." Scripture has also informed us to put our trust in GOD for man will fail us(Proverbs 03:05, Romans 10:07) but GOD'S WORD will not return to HIM void(Isaiah 55:11).
Therefore faith is the foundation of religion and it dictates your actions and observances.
The Bay Bridge was recently closed for retrofit and another problem was observed during further investigation. When it reopened we faithfully drove across it because Caltrain said it was safe. There was no opposition or hesitance in thought, we just sped right across it paying $4 and expecting it to be safe. That's faith, turning on the faucet and expecting a flow of liquid for consumption is faith, expecting pay at the end of one or two work weeks is also faith. Repeatedly we act upon faith in human nature and doubt GOD our CREATOR.
I know the subject is freedom but without faith almost everything becomes void. We must believe to achieve gratification.
Scanning the Internet I found a site, http://www.edition.cnn.com/ that had posted an article about a female journalist arrested for wearing pants.
"Lubna al-Hussein, a journalist who worked in the media department of the United Nations mission in Sudan, was jailed Monday for refusing to pay a court-ordered fine, her lawyer, Nabil Adib, said."
I was flabbergasted. I reflected the so-called freedom we have in America. There are restrictions civil rights, disabled rights and gay rights to name a few. However, the thought of being jailed for clothing seems excessive in light of the story. Again http://www.cbsnews.com/ had this to say about the pants incident. " Lubna Hussein had refused to pay a $200 fine and opted for imprisonment as a protest against the country's draconian morality laws. Hussein tells The Associated Press that prison authorities set her free without an explanation Tuesday. She says she later learned that the government-allied Journalists Union paid the fine on her behalf. She says the government was "unnerved" by her presence in prison because she would report on conditions inside. A judge on Monday imposed the fine after convicting her, but he did not impose the maximum penalty of 40 lashes. Sudan's government implements a conservative version of Islamic law in the north. Under public indecency laws, anyone committing an act or wearing clothing deemed indecent can be punished with a flogging or a fine, but lawyers and human rights groups say the law is too vague and arbitrary. In the capital the "public order" police enforce the laws, breaking up parties and scolding men and women who mingle in public. "
In this country, "the land of the free" this seems ludicrous that this could happen in 2009. We take for granted the freedom awarded us on frivolous characteristics and abuse the rewarded privileges of freedom. Marred by gang violence, teen pregnancies, hate crimes and murders we are blinded by ignorance and traditions. We miss the truth of freedom neglecting the truth about ourselves. We were CREATED EQUAL(Genesis 01:26).
There is ONE GOD that we Worship, ONE FAITH and ONE TRUTH(Ephesians 04:05). I respect everyone believing the way they believe and do my best to live my beliefs openly as a testament to my faith. I share and incorporate that I may have missed due to lack of knowledge. I am a believer of Christ and The Resurrection and await THE DAY OF JUDGEMENT and CHRIST'S RETURN to earth for eternity. My husband is of the Islamic faith and we do not argue or force one another to believe any different. We simply live by faith and execute the characteristics of GOD. It was my husband's observance of Prayer and Bible reading that ushered a new closeness of THE GLORY OF GOD into my life.
Incorporating information from both religions I find peace through my trials and rest in my faith. I understand that "Whom the SON Sets Free" is indeed free from the bondage of sin to blind my spirit from the truth of THE WORD OF GOD. With 40+ years of experiences and mistakes I can offer testimony of GOD'S DIVINE HAND in my life. I have rejected truth for theory and flirted with atheism and agnostics, only to realize GOD is REAL and Salvation is your personal relationship with HIM.

Giving flowers is an expression
As I signed onto the World Wide Web today, I glanced through the headlines and this is what I saw: “15 year old boy cries blood, UK official makes stunning claim, college legend hits rock bottom, Taye Diggs welcomes first child, and Kathy Griffin almost died from lipo". I immediately had a moment from John Singleton's Movie, "Boys in the hood." I felt as if, either the world don't know, won't show, or they just don’t care about what happened to my Auntie. As for me, I watch extensive information channels, MSNBC, CNN, HLN, TVONE, THE HISTORY CHANNEL AND A&E. I watch these channels to reach outside the box of the San Francisco, Bay Area, as a way to connect with others that are feeling the daily; depressing; ordinary; extraordinary; glorious; painful; physical; sad; stressful; and theoretical task of living.I figure the local news should be about the community and its news, not focused on Hollywood and fiction. Please excuse me if I'm all over the place right about now...but I have good reason. You see, the last Matriarch – a true soldier and warrior up to the end of her era has passed from life to death. This happened Friday evening as the sun was preparing to set from its day of bursting through fog, smog and human waste of the earth, and everything in it. LaDell Brown was 90 years old. And Scripture informs us in the book of Ecclesiastes chapters 01-04; that there is a time and season for everything under the sun. There is a time to laugh, cry, mourn, comfort and sometimes just be quiet. I’ve recently read a book by Patti Rice titled, "Reinventing the Woman" and in this book, one of the main characters (Nora) had a saying when someone would say, "I'm sorry." She would respond, "Be sorry for battered women and hungry children." I found that saying to be deep, and it fits for those that would think sympathy is the reason for this blog. Sympathy nor sorrow are the purpose of my blog. Prior to January of 2009 maybe, as I hadn't permitted GOD to "reinvent" me. I kept reinventing myself and I lost who I truly was as I attempted to please, displease or annoy others. That was a stressful existence, and I loved it. It fit the personality of the persons I was trying to be. Cold, callous, hateful and ungodly, and I was dedicated to being all I shouldn't be in order to deny who I really was. LaDell Brown was the total opposite, she never complained about situations or adversity. She found strength in challenges and comfort in being calm. Auntie was nonsense intolerant. She saw the silver lining in the darkest times. She served the city of San Francisco over thirty years to the capacity of equality and justice for all. She gave everyone the benefit of doubt and motivated you to learn and become educated, and then to utilize that education in order to live among society as an investor to its existence. “Find a need and fill it, don't just talk about it” was her motto, well one of them anyway. Her motto was the uplifting of whatever was falling down. She was the mother of one, Perry and she raised him as a single mother even though she remained married but separated from his father and in very good relations to him, they functioned as a family with separate quarters but equal love. You couldn't go around Auntie depressed, she wouldn't tolerate negativity. She would shut you down and clean you out. She could really deliver a story of substance and history. I learned so much about life from her points of view. Aunt LaDell worked with the mayor’s office and in various EOC and social programs and divisions to assist the fallen to stand up and eventually fly. She was the non biological mother of thousands. If you had her in your corner, you had all the support you needed. She was strong, kind, gentle, stern, opinionated, and humble. A Jane of all trades, she would be what she needed to be when it was necessary. She was an honorary adviser for physical fitness to anyone within her reach. She was a member of Fitness U.S. A. originally in Stones town, but she preferred the one in Daly City. I remember when it was Jack La lane's European Health Spa. She went daily until the last two years of her life, after the surgery to repair a valve in her heart. Her good nature even came forward after this evasive surgery, saying, "Baby I think they gave my boobs a lift" at 88 she stuck her chest out and struck a pose two weeks after the surgery. My sister and I were blessed to have gotten many of Auntie’s friends who were still living together at Frisco's Art Gallery at the wharf. It was beautiful to be in the room with such rich talent and history. The co owner of Bayview Mortuary, a member of Oakland's Education task force was present and the Mayor of Oakland, Ron Dellums sent a representive of his staff to present her with a letter of recognition. She would tell us to spend time and share things with your family; she was strong about family participation and support. She advised family outings and reunions other than funerals to uplift and support one another in life. She called it "Giving flowers while they are alive" to smell and appreciate them. Her idea of giving was sharing coffee, taking the bus together, going to Mass, graduations, job promotions, visiting and complimenting. She would say, "It’s not what you say but what you do" and "what you say if you're saying it from your heart". She would say if you can't visit, call. If you can't send flowers send a note, a card, draw a picture, share some watermelon or ice cream. I have in the last 10+ years developed into a better being with a softer tone being in her presence and emulating her spirit. She helped me shed that veil of darkness that I clung to for 30+ years and taught me to love my family and appreciate everyone’s soul as precious gifts from GOD to help us learn and grow in life. She was one of a kind and a gift to have. Rest my dear Aunt; you've fought a good fight. --Posted By FATIMA B. to FATIMA'S PERSPECTIVE ON ISSUES at 9/05/2009 09:25:00 AM Edited by Miss LeJeana(Fatima's babysister)

Take the time to understand
As good as revenge feels when executed and operated to gratification, the external emotions and outward transformations merit little if any deserved satisfaction. Appeasement is a sacrifice of the make up of your person as you settle to gain ground with/over another. Recently I have developed a sense that with Divine revelation reaction is a flesh deed and responding is spiritual. Due to my fascination with the usage and handling of words and terminology analyzing is equally important to the process of understanding.
A botched appendectomy invited gangrene into my small intestines and prompted removal of the part that absorbs b12 which assists in the control of emotions. I receive 1000mlg's monthly and can detect when I need them. I react to situations with full speed regardless of its capacity. If its happy I'm extremely excited and if its sad I'm emotionally depressed. I have analyzed myself "eccentric" as I do everything with extreme. Overindulgence amplified. This can lead to loneliness and confusion. The toll it takes another to communicate or relate to me can be tense and troubling if I'm not aware of my responsibility to any experience or situation. The key to overcoming depression and constant phobia was to trust and know GOD who designed me in HIS OWN IMAGE and LIKENESS. I pause and absorb the ramification of that statement then I proceed to read how HE REACTED, RESPONDED AND REWARDED. Spending time researching the events and comparing to personal and shared experiences I see GOD coming to life through us all. I've learned to transform my thought processing with spiritual guidance and listen for the voice of GOD to direct my understanding. The Scripture states that Understanding and Wisdom are gifts like children from our CREATOR. Wisdom is knowledge with a P.H.D. and a Masters. Each of us inherited knowledge complete from Adam and Eve. Obedience to GOD and HIS WILL for us grants the gifts of wisdom and understanding. Moses, David and Solomon possessed those gifts and excelled in daily functioning as long as they stayed GOVERNED BY THE ALMIGHTY and did not flirt with the forces of evil. Anger overwhelmed Moses when he struck the rock to receive water for a complaining people, David began to drift from GOD to answer the demands of his flesh with murder, adultery and pride, Solomon resorted to idolatry by building temples to the gods of his foreign wives and pleasing people.
In Scripture repeatedly we are informed of the advantages of obeying GOD(Deuteronomy chapter 28) and to trust in GOD(Hebrews chapters 02 and 03). We have example after example of the human character and its nature in opposition to GOD. The walls that house our spirit is called flesh and it is both a blessing and a curse. A blessing in that it was given to us to protect and identify us from the forces of evil and the principalities of this world, and a curse in that we inherited attributes from the rebellion of Adam and Eve in the garden. Death was not suppose to be a part of our existence but it was chosen by our foreparents who were duped by the forces against GOD. Ushering a mirage of emotions, disabilites and characteristics unbecoming of GOD.
Taking time to know and get closer to GOD reverses the inherited attributes from Adam/Eve and grants New Covenant through JESUS THE CHRIST as we repent and return to the order OF ALMIGHTY and transform our mind and actions to reflect change.
The fact that we are CREATED equal and attain the same blood defies the negative view of acceptance due to difference of opinion for faith. Let's take the subject of emotions and explore the channels of difference. From the free encylopedia we get this, "An emotion is a mental and physiological state associated with a wide variety of feelings, thoughts, and behavior. Emotions are subjective experiences, or experienced from an individual point of view. Emotion is often associated with mood, temperament, personality, and disposition. The English word 'emotion' is derived from the French word émouvoir. This is based on the Latin emovere, where e- (variant of ex-) means 'out' and movere means 'move'.[1] The related term "motivation" is also derived from movere.
No definitive taxonomy of emotions exists, though numerous taxonomies have been proposed. Some categorizations include:
'Cognitive' versus 'non-cognitive' emotions
Instinctual emotions (from the amygdala), versus cognitive emotions (from the prefrontal cortex).
Basic versus complex: where base emotions lead to more complex ones.
Categorizatio'n based on duration: Some emotions occur over a period of seconds (e.g. surprise) where others can last years (e.g. love).
A related distinction is between the emotion and the results of the emotion, principally behaviors and emotional expressions. People often behave in certain ways as a direct result of their emotional state, such as crying, fighting or fleeing. Yet again, if one can have the emotion without the corresponding behavior then we may consider the behavior not to be essential to the emotion. The James-Lange theory posits that emotional experience is largely due to the experience of bodily changes. The functionalist approach to emotions (e.g. Nico Frijda) holds that emotions have evolved for a particular function, such as to keep the subject safe." To further the debate it offered this, "Based on discoveries made through neural mapping of the limbic system, the neurobiological explanation of human emotion is that emotion is a pleasant or unpleasant mental state organized in the limbic system of the mammalian brain. If distinguished from reactive responses of reptiles, emotions would then be mammalian elaborations of general vertebrate arousal patterns, in which neurochemicals (e.g., dopamine, noradrenaline, and serotonin) step-up or step-down the brain's activity level, as visible in body movements, gestures, and postures. In mammals, primates, and human beings, feelings are displayed as emotion cues." From another site about emotions http://eqi.org/emotions.htm there is broad description of emotions as well as theory as such, "Managing Negative Emotions
General Guidelines
Here are few general guidelines for managing negative emotions. .
First, identify the feeling. Next, ask if is a healthy feeling. Then list your options and chose the one which is most likely to lead to your long-term happiness.
After asking these first two questions, the next step is to ask what would help you feel better. Try to focus on answers which are in your control, since it would be easy, but not too helpful, to think of things ways others could change so you would feel better.
Another question is to ask how you want to feel. This helps you direct your thoughts in a positive direction.
To summarize, here are some helpful questions:
How am I feeling?
Is it a healthy feeling?
How do I want to feel?
What would help me feel better (that I can control)?"
The Scripture instructs us in the book of Philippians 02:05-11 to have this kind of mind, " Let this mind be in you which was also in CHRIST JESUS, WHO, being in the FORM OF GOD, did not consider it robbery to be equal with GOD, but made HIMSELF of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, HE humbled HIMSELF and became OBEDIENT to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore GOD also has HIGHLY EXALTED HIM AND GIVEN HIM the Name which is above every name, that at the Name of JESUS every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that JESUS CHRIST IS LORD, to the GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER.(The Inspiritional Study Bible by Max Lucado)" Wow that says a lot and we should honor the PRESENCE of THE LORD GOD and HIS WORD.
The Apostle Paul had no problem sharing the trials and tribulations of his experience in CHRIST. He was a former pharisee who persecuted believers of CHRIST under the roman rule until his encounter on the road to Damascus transformed his thoughts and actions. Study the books of Paul's writings(the books of Romans through Philemon) then study the Gospel books(Matthew through John) and revisit the books of The Law( Genesis through Deutoeronomy). It would do a world of good to confess sins inherited and then The Holy Bible can be read from the beginning through the end chapter by chapter and verse by verse. Read the word of GOD like you would the novels you purchase and cloud your emotions with flesh induced jargon and mental depressions.
