Committing to be an artist on the virtual network connection Facebook has produced both Blessings & Curses all in the name of freedom of speech & Freewill of Choice. It has taken me a lifetime to recognize my own responsibilities to the direction & outcome of specific events or situations projecting success & failure.
I've began an individual Search for the True Meaning of SALVATION & It's Role in our society & am appalled by the neglegeance & rebellion I view from the so-called "church". I have observed a mirage of obscenities & sins disguised as self-help programs & rehabilitation.just seems ironic to me that the very things we claim to be "saved" from are the obstacles hindering many from total Surrender TO AN ALMIGHTY INFINITE GOD vs. a puny finite organization.
I've spiritually whored denominations & traditions to meet the COMMANDED PROMISES OF GOD and fall extremely short of any gratitification or acceptance.
I began a trek toward Serenity & SANCTIFICATION in August of 2005 & Accomplished this goal in January of 2009 when I incorporated True Prayer & Worship into my daily operations. I joined a phone Prayer line and It Freed Me from wordly & fleshly habitual gratification & Ushered PEACE & SERENITY into my immediate realm of realization. I observed that Prayer Does CHANGE things & REUNITES Us With GOD COMPLETELY.
An Evangelist left the Prayer line for Facebook & from February 2009 thru June 2009 she kept attempting to lure me off of the Prayer line to Facebook, I had no knowledge of Facebook except that it was rumored to be "growner than myspace".
The Evangelist told me "girl we Pray & have Bible study & Spiritual conversations & worship it's amazing". Signed on in June viewed the activities & immediately signed off until late September and even then thought it was like a bunch of emails coming in my mailbox. Unaware it was a virtual wall for people to leave graffiti on & the whole world is viewing. After months to figure the process & system afterwhich I was disappointed & ungratified. I coulnd't believe some of the contents people were posting, "sitting in the dark eating oatmeal thinking about my ex, wishing my man was not locked up so he could get wit this, god gave me this new truck, if you aint my friend dont read my stuff".
People were opening up their lives, mind & soul to reveal the depths of their stupidity. Ignorance is golden & teachable but stupid is null & void.
The Evangelist wound up in an altercation that lead to police & computer confiscation. Others were discussing fights & wars & deaths just desecrating the airwaves with nonsense & violence but expecting sympathy & Prayer when someone died as a result to the neglegeance or blatant disrespect FOR ALMIGHTY GOD.
My Spirit Grieves Daily from the dark extremely sinful nature of our existence & loss of morality & family virtues. Some of the actual postings hitting the airwaves of life & media's exploitations:

Matthew Nicholls I have a few questions. Is it moral for me to forgive other people for sins inflicted on other people, accepting that the alledged sins were origionally not directed towards myself?Furthermore, Is it moral for me to impregnate a betrothed young lady without her knowledge (And presumingly her consent) using non-conventional methods of introducing the male DNA into her reproductive organs that involve no contact whatsoever between myself and her?Furthermore, would I be fair and just by applying such methods, in expecting the partner of that girl to care for the child, without providing material support?Would it be a moral act for me to agree to slaughter my son in sacrifice to an unverified entity, only at the last moment to be told to stop, citing voices in my head being the primary cause of the situation? Is it moral for me to incite fear in those of whom I love?See More

One might wonder where you are going with this...From reading between the lines, it seems to me that you might be questioning the morality of some of God's actions as described in the Bible. Please clarify whether or not this is your intent.

That is precisely my intent. Although, please don't exclude the scrutiny of Jesus and Abraham from the set of questons. Please offer me your ideas.

1. God is God. You are not God. Ultimately, all sin is against God and His Laws. Sure, there are many people who should seek forgiveness for the wrong they've done against others...but sin is rebellion against God's holy standards. Seeking His forgiveness for that we do wrong against others is to seek His forgiveness for rebellion. 2. "without her knowledge (and presumably her consent)" - I suggest you read the account of Christ's conception in Luke chapter 1. Firstly, she DID know she was to conceive through the Holy Spirit, prior to the actual event - note verses 31, 34, 35 (the conception is to 'come', not already present); and secondly, we see her consent in verse 38 - "be it unto me according to thy word."3. Joseph was told that the child was indeed conceived through the Holy Spirit, and not adultery as he had suspected, so under Jewish Law, was not entitled to divorce Mary. Man also has free will, so Jospeh could have chosen to ignore what he had been told, but, being a righteous man, instead chose to take on the responsibility of care for Mary and her child. ... See More4. Faith is active. It is not mere 'head belief' as many claim or practise. Abraham's step of faith in almost sacrificing Isaac was one of dedication. God knew He would stop Abraham's hand before any such act were to be commited (for to do otherwise would be to contradict His prohibition against murder). It was a test of faith, not God commanding Abraham to kill his son...and Abraham was not immoral in his actions, because He understood the reality of God. God, to Abraham, was not an 'unverified entity' (as you and many modern minds like to dream). God had already proven Himself to the patriarch, verified His existence prior to this event. 5. The only ones who have reason to fear God are those who have not been covered in the Blood of the Cross, those living in sin. As Leonard Ravenhill so aptly remarked, there are only 2 types of people - "those dead in sin, and those dead to sin." A simple reading and comprehension of Scripture shows this distinction clearly - and to whom a fear of God belongs. Not to those who love and follow Him obediently. Fear belongs to those who reject Him and His standard of morality.

Well, God proved Himself countless times, so I'd assume, on the basis of you claiming divinity, that you would be able to do likewise...For someone who refuses to accept a supernatural or spiritual existence, something that cannot be seen, the 'lie' would sound more convincing to human reason. But we are not talking about mere temporal reality here... See More - we are talking about Scripture that is dealing with spirit entering the temporal. Ultimate Reality. Not the 'reality' that we can see, smell, hear etc. It is an intersection of the two, where there can be no limit of what human reason sees as possible or impossible.

I like what your saying. So if I told you that I have already produced a miracle, you would need to see it to believe me.. am I right?Furthermore, I'd be careful with the word 'proof', it has yet to find a home in theology. If it had, there would be no purpose in discussing such topics. I beg to add, is it conceivable to you that a mere human could have thought up the laws of god?... See More

The evidences of God's divinity, as proven to multiple biblical figures, was not simply in past miracles, but in the continuing evidence of miracle...so I'm going to have to ask that you produce something new, something we can document as being specifically (1) a miracle belonging to you alone; and (2) something that is outside of the realm of mere human/physical possibility. I would require either (1) personal sight of said miracle (so if you could make the sun darken worldwide for a couple days, that'd be awesome, so we could all see); or (2) multiple eyewitness account - and not just some group of mates willing to agree to any old story - I'd need multiple witnesses from differing backgrounds, ages, sexes, locations, etc. I will continue to use the word 'proof' - for those of us who have experienced the Hand of God in their lives, we have proof. Obviously I do not expect you to accept or understand this, so I will at times attempt to replace the word with a synonym, but cannot reject its usage completely. It may have little place in the mere study of theology, but it most certainly plays a role in the life of an active faith within a Christian. Feel free to simply ignore my usage of the word. I, as a human, could have thought-up most of the Laws of God - do not steal, murder, commit adultery etc etc (although this is not taking into consideration the vast majority of Law to be found within the Torah)...I am assuming you are insinuating that Moses could have simply penned them himself? ... See MoreFree will - Yes it most certainly can. let me ask - Someone tells you that going up to a wild hippo and smacking it repeatedly is going to cause that hippo to charge you and either cause you a great amount of bodily harm, or kill you. What do you do? Do you exercise you choose to disregard the warning and smack the hippo? or do you choose to heed the warning and keep away? The cause of an action (or un-action0 does not impinge on the existence of Free Will. Likewise, many have heard the Gospel's message of salvation, and despite knowing and understanding the consequences as described by Scripture, have still chosen to disregard the warning. Free will exists and fear does not nullify that basic human component.

With the miracles statement you defeat your own beliefs. Please apply the same reasoning as you kindly bestowed upon me, to your own evidence for the presence of miracles. And, using a commonly expressed expression.., you shouldn't try to test 'god'. Remember, a miracle is defined as the suspension of the physical/natural laws of our universe. A magician's job is to try to convince the audience of their ability to suspend these laws. Although very convincing their tricks can be, and they do have the capacity to deceive, it is accept that it is a trick. I would no doubt hear the same from members of other faiths, who had the unfortune (as you would say) to be brought up in what you regard to be the wrong religion. I can't imagine living (let alone accepting) with the idea that children from other cultures will burn in hell for eternity. What are they here for then? To become future fuel for god's eternal fire.Perhaps, if you had been born in a muslim, or hindu community, you would have been taught the circular reasoning of those religions that are similar to your own. God wrote the bible. The bible says God exists. ... See MoreAs for the hippo, it exists in our reality. The warning carries reasoning based on a proven hypothesis, i.e ... hitting an observable hippo with a stick will carry consequences. However, if you asked me to not swipe at the air, for fear of harming an invisible spirit, then I would have to be concerned for your mental health. "I, as a human, could have thought-up most of the Laws of God - do not steal, murder, commit adultery etc etc" You also defeat yourself here. I'm not going to even bother, if you can't see it by now, you ain't going to. Just think of all those preachers who, over the years grew rich, by scaring the uneducated and the vunerable into conformity and serfdom. Furthermore, I guess you believe in an interventionalist god.. ..

No, it doesn't do damage to my own beliefs. Plenty of eyewitness accounts in the Bible, and this does not take into account the things I have seen/experienced myself. I am not testing God, I am testing YOU. Humanity is capable of trickery, but to hold God to the same limitations as Man is just plain silly. God, by definition, is an entity/force/being that exists and operates outside of our human limitations, like time and space. Nobody has ever been born that cannot accept the gift of His sacrifice. Everyone, despite the culture or religion into which they were born, have available to them the Blood of Christ. It is for this reason we are commanded to go out to the ends of the earth (missions both local and far off) and preach the Gospel. It is truly amazing how far the Gospel has reached, even to many of the farthest ends of the globe, so that none 'should' perish in the fires of His Judgment. It is not circular reasoning to believe that God exists only because the Bible says so. We have all been born with an innate knowledge of something greater (beyond) ourselves...and even the Greek philosophers (pre-Christianity) could see this. The greatest fighters of God's existence seem to be those who have the most to 'lose' from His existence - i.e. freedom of 'Self' and the admission of accountability. ... See MoreHippo - the logic is exactly the same...that analogy was used in order to demonstrate the fallacy of your logic on the subject of free will, not on whether you can see something or not. The Free Will analogy stands as far as the reason for which it was intended. The Laws of God being written by Man - no I did not defeat myself here, but quite intentionally left it wide-open for your response. The Laws as found within the entire Torah cannot have been completely written by Man. Firstly, it commands things to which humanity at the time would not have been aware of (for instance, the sanitary and dietary laws as pertaining to the particular climate and living conditions). They also command, above all things, the fidelity to One God (amongst the polytheism of all the surrounding cultures, monotheism was far from the flavour of the day). Also, what of the fact that many of these Laws were in complete contradiction to the things that Israel had adopted into their culture from surrounding pagan cultures? These Laws would have been in stark contrast to what they wanted...and would also have convicted many of them (Moses included, as a murderer) of great sin. The creation of all these Laws by Man is an idea that is not supported by logic. "Just think of all those preachers who, over the years grew rich, by scaring the uneducated and the vunerable into conformity and serfdom." >>> and this is not what Christianity is about. It is certainly true that there have been 'Christians' throughout history (and even today) who seek to suppress those under them for their own gain. This is not to be confused with true Christianity. Such actions are a complete bastardisation of what scripture says - to take a few passages out of context and ignore the majority of what the Bible has to say. I do believe there are times in which God does intervene in the affairs of Man.

I Appreciate that Rebecca held GOD'S OWN & Presented The World a View Of KINDNESS & PATIENCE Accompanied by GOD'S WORD & WISDOM. This should be the basic training model to accompany Bible conversations for dummies. Interesting concept Bible Teaching for dummies. I can appreciate the freedom of deliverance & theory for the sake of the world evolving its present toward future and the finale of life as we view it with finite abilities.
However wars & rumors of wars are the activities of the world we live in as The Apostle Paul instructed us " Be not conformed " to the world.
Believers should Not be defensive toward one another but Loving & Patient With Understanding. We've received direction to "get an Understanding In all".
How is it that none of us seem to Visualize One SHEPHERD & ONE FOLD(John 10:16)? The "other Sheep" are those not yet willing to Repent and Let GOD or Have yet to Experience THE LOVE OF GOD(those without THE GOSPEL). JESUS SAID "them also I MUST BRING AND WE SHALL BE ONE FOLD". How do they become a part of the flock if they are seen as defiled & sinful? Haven't We been told "All have sinned" then who can claim to be without it except JESUS CHRIST? Even HE FELT THE SEPARATION FROM ALMIGHTY GOD once the sins of us were LAID UPON HIM TO BEAR ON THE CROSS(Matthew 27:45-56).
With the doors closed and guarded by religious security proclaimed "ushers", the sheep are screened then seated according to "haves & have nots". Participation is governed by a scripted program prearranged & proclaimed "spirit-lead" followed almost precisely as written.
If The SPIRIT DOES DECIDE TO MOVE UPON AN Individual they are immediately tacked & dragged off to a place out of the way of the congregation. Who told them they should do it like that?
Many have become ostracized criticized & abandoned to the point of self esteem relenting to public projection & reputations or degrees of ideology & cetificates. Once reduced to guilt shame & fear of rejection Saints of GOD become aints of society. Robbed of THE FREEDOM AWARDED CHRIST FOR HIS SUFFERING IN Their Places they roam the streets as sheep led to slaughter because the adversary of CHRIST walks to and fro seeking whom he can devour(1. Peter 5:8).
He loves nothing more than to meet up with a lost soul to deceive them unto death devoid of THE LIFE GIVEN THEM FROM THE CREATOR OF HEAVEN & EARTH(John 10:10).
There are self-proclaimed messengers of god telling people that have experienced the passing of a loved one, "GOD LOVED THEM & TOOK THEM HOME" liars It is APPOINTED for mankind to die due to Adam & Eve's Rebellion against GOD in The Garden of Eden. Death was PUNISHMENT for disObedience(Genesis 2:8-17). When people say the Bible contradicts itself that is the error of those professing to KNOW GOD & TRUST HIS JUDGMENT denying THE STRENGTH OF THE WORD & feeling a need to interpret it to appease the listener.
GOD USES ORDINARY PEOPLE that will give their all no matter how small their all might seem to be little things becomes much placed IN THE MASTERS HAND-James Cleveland sang Ordinary People. Society and organizations develope status & quo. WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE & ALL ARE CREATED EQUAL. If We would believe HIS WORD & Apply It as Instructional we would not fall for the lies of GOD'S adversary, satan, belial, belzebub, the devil he has many titles just as GOD=ALMIGHTY CREATOR FATHER or JESUS=THE CHRIST SAVIOR MESSIAH or THE HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD=THE HOLY GHOST HOLY SPIRIT AND FIRE. Those are just a few there are multiple titles because Everyone seeks a specific deliverance or healing. One say tomaytoe & one says tomahtoe.
What's my grievance? MisRepresenting GOD to fill the space of organized religious sects that only exalt materialism & earthly rewards as opposed to HEAVENLY PROMISES & ETERNAL LIFE.
Further fulfilling the lies of the enemy of GOD & destroying THE PEOPLE OF GOD with lies, death and fantasies.

Examining the Benefits of LOVE
Observing the state our societies being reduced to kaos & wars all in the name of love & honor, I have concluded either we don't know what LOVE is or we refuse to accept the benefits for the deceits & propaganda's.
The greatest portion of my life has evolved or surrounded the concept of love as viewed through the eyes of playmates & neighbors as a child & church goers & co-workers as an adult. Attempting to define love as observed through ones upbringing could Mar & scar the depths & benefits of love to an innocent victim of physical & or verbal abuse disguised as love.
Childhood games like tag & dodge ball also presented warped theories regarding love. One would tag or not hit the ones they loved & skip over those considered "cooties" a childlike word expressed as weird. Various religious views definitely confuse if not destroy the mind of a victim of abuse or the self-esteem deprived character of observations. Puzzled by the many claims as the "true" sect or organization yet all profess to be of or from GOD.
Certain I read that "a house divided against itself will fall(Matt. 12:25 & Luk. 11:17)". Or that believers were to have "like minds(Romans 12:16)" & be on "one accord(Phil. 2:2)" to fully Operate In The Name Of LOVE and guide others.
Where then does the division arouse? Scripture says from pride and or deception(James 4:1).
In search of dialog or theory I obtain information from this site:http://www.wikihow.com/Love I borrowed an how to on love:
Love is a strange feeling that can be one of the most amazing in all the world. Sometimes the emotions associated with love are blissful, and there are times when they can really hurt. In the end, love is something most of us, if not all of us, will encounter. While there are many different ways to define love and there are many different ways to love someone (or even yourself), here is a general guide to loving.
1Say it. When you say the words "I Love You", they should carry with them the desire to show someone that you love them, not what you simply want to feel. When you say it, make sure you really mean it and are willing to do anything for that special person.
2Empathize. Put yourself in someone Else's shoes. Rather than impose your own expectations or attempt to control them, to understand how they feel, where they come from, and who they are. Realize how they could also love you back just as well.
3Love unconditionally. If you cannot love another person without attaching stipulations, then it is not love at all, but deep-seated opportunism (one who makes the most of an advantage, often unmindful of others). If your interest is not in the other person as such, but rather in how that person can enhance your experience of life, then it is not unconditional. If you have no intention of improving that person’s life, or allowing that person to be themselves and accepting them as they are, and not who you want them to be, then you are not striving to love them unconditionally.
4Expect nothing in return. That doesn't mean you should allow someone to mistreat or undervalue you. It means that giving love does not guarantee receiving love. Try loving just for the sake of love. Realize that someone may have a different way of showing his or her love for you; do not expect to be loved back in exactly the same way.
5Realize it can be lost. If you realize that you can lose the one you love, then you have a greater appreciation of what you have. Think how lucky you are to have someone to love. Don't make an idol of the person you love. This will place them under undue pressure and will likely result in you losing them.
6Never stop loving. Even if you have been hurt before you should not stop giving love.

“How on earth are you ever going to explain in terms of chemistry and physics so important a biological phenomenon as first love?”— Albert EinsteinLove is difficult to define. How do you avoid confusing it with infatuation or lust? Philosophers and psychologists both have attempted to define love, per least its difference from infatuation and lust. If you are looking to find love, the following observations may be helpful.Love is much more than a risk, but is a risk that one can take and grasp and fall into a dark abyss or dig oneself a hole and only crawl back when you overcome your emotions. How can one truly define what love is? Not even an experienced person can truly grasp or explain love to its truest and deepest meaning. Its concepts are just a never ending story of an open book of experiences. But love does lie in one's heart, where memories are but shadows lingering in your soul.
1The dictionary defines love in several ways in which we use the word. For example, love is:
A strong positive emotion of; affection or pleasure; e.g, "His love for his work." or "I love cooking."
Any object of warm affection or devotion or liking: "The theater was her first love". "I love French food".
Beloved: a beloved person; used as a term of endearment.
A deep feeling of sexual desire and attraction; e.g., "She was his first love" or "She loves her husband."
A score of zero in tennis or squash: "It was 40-love!"
Sexual love: sexual intercourse between two people. e.g. "They made love." "He hadn't had any love in months".
2Love is characterized by the desire to want good things for that person no matter what. And you're willing to work out your problems together. And you can hardly breathe when you're around them. Even though you may see them all the time or hardly ever, it's as if you get that rush of what you felt when you got your first kiss.
3The Greeks defined love in four categories:
Agape love is unconditional love. It is love by "choice" even if you are not pleased. A good example is "God loves us with our faults."
Philia love is the dispassionate virtuous love, guided by our likes or our healthy or unhealthy needs and desires.
Storge is the word for family love and the physical show of "affection", the need for physical touch. Sometimes the love between exceptional friends. See also: WikiPedia:Storge
Eros is the physical "sexual" desire, intercourse. It is the root word of erotic, and eroticism.
4Define love by thinking of what it means to you. Be bold and write down the feelings and thoughts you have about love.
5Be aware of moments when you feel love towards anyone or anything.
6Consider your motives, what are you each getting from the situation, especially if it is progressing too quickly.
7Think about whether you'd feel the same way if the other person's looks were to change (is it just attraction).
8Capture your feelings in metaphors, poetry or songs. "Love is like..."
9Define love like a psychologist: love can be viewed as having three parts, triangularly. There are three key components:
Passion underlies physical desire, sexual behavior, and arousal. This is the physical side.
Intimacy is the emotional aspect: closeness, connectedness, and warmth of friendship.
Commitment is the decision-making part "CHOICE" of love; are couples willing to work it out?
10Expressing love may start as flirting with smiles, winks and maybe even kissing, but it is usually infatuation at this point, approaching with curiosity by one or both parties. While time is usually spent looking to discover more about this intriguing person, much time will be spent pondering the many possibilities of what could happen, or the consequences that may become of a certain action, or on the other hand the good that may come of it.
11Thrill as the person in love having little else of such interest in the real world, food may taste bland, concentrating has become a serious mental struggle and even fun pastimes may seem worthless, as pacing and walking or even simply sitting or lying while musing about the person seems a most engaging thing to do.
This type of behavior can lead to serious disturbances at work and at home, especially if the person feeling love is already an item with somebody else with whom they may have shared these feelings at some time in the past.
12Deeply in love it is thought that one can only be really in love with one person at a time. The part of the human being that is reserved for sharing with another (which some may call the soul, or the heart) is used up while dedicating itself to that one source, and that it is impossible to feel the overwhelming feeling of love in two sources: "twice-at-once" sounds impossible!
Although similar, love is thought not to be like pain which has definite locations; it is thought that it can move around, although usually it will reside in the lower stomach or the bottom of the throat, with sensitive areas like the temples and the legs and joints feeling stressed and weak. The mouth is often dry and the eyes seem strained, and this is all usually given the diagnosis of love sickness, or in some cases where love isn't present, influenza.
13Endure for a time. Time does seem to be the only healer in the case of lost love. The full connection of two loving parties (mutually) could lead to a stronger relationship, and developments such as procreation and marriage; but in the case of a single party or the rejection of the first party by the second, or even in the case of a secret love, being in love will usually only fade after the interest is out of sight and out of mind, or gives full closure to the pursuer.
14Love forever (especially in literature)--it is forever. No matter how much time passes by, or what obstacles become present in the path of true and pure love, love will endure. This may be far fetched from reality, but many find it to be a preferable way to think.
Although this may be a much more joyous belief to have of love, there are also those situations where love does fail. This can be easily said to have been due to false love of mistaken identity between persons (as lovers are star crossed and are meant to find each other). Either way, the difference between feeling love and not feeling it is a distinct one, and cannot be mistaken. It is a true sickness that is present and can be more crippling than the flu, depression and many other illnesses combined.
Love can cause war; in the cases of love of religion and the love of money; war can cause people to steal and murder, it can lead to suicide and shatter marriage and family life, it can spread disease and give birth to evil; but love is eternal and cannot be eliminated, it is what makes people human. "I think therefore I am" may also be translated as "I love therefore I am".
Also in some philosophical terms nothing lasts forever, not love either. Nothing has ever lasted forever since the dawn of time, nor shall anyone ever know if anything will. It is somewhat of a paradox since eternity cannot by definition have a conclusion, and no conclusions can ever be reached without a conclusion. Also if the human mind were somehow able to last eons, human nature dictates that angry, boredom, and/or irritation will end any relationship given enough time.
15Allow yourself to think so you may choose why, where and when to find your life partner not just for simple breeding or survival of the fittest, but in order for developing and choosing as human beings not just feeling beings.
16Share your love and spread it on through new generations, so while love lasts eternally, your mark upon humanity is also forever through your children and children's children; you make your mark by your genetic codes, understandings and teachings continuing--passed on and developed forevermore!
This eternal possibility is a gift, not just dedication; you have to choose as we were born with conscientiousness.
Desire is the want of more and is unsellable, not to be confused with Love which is joy and contentment.
Many thanks for the suggestions to the subject of love. However, I agree most with The Holy Bible & It's summation found in 1. Corinthians 13: the entire chapter is devoted to the characteristics & qualities of love. As mentioned from the Greek, the word Agape Unconditional love is the formula I most identify as its depth & perception.
I do agree that one must identify what matches their faith & accentuates their existence and vice verse. As with any other involvement, choose wisely & let no one dictate your heart but don't be so sure about yourself that you neglect to grow from that unknown but necessary or vital to understanding. Be Blessed.
