It astonishes my fleshly mentality when I observe the lifestyle of so-called Christians. It is as if they change the rules to suit the flesh or the opinions of peers. Giving power to their adversary whose whole objective is to deceive with distractions that deter your destiny and prosperity. Characteristics of the enemy are "stealing", "killing" and "destroying"-John 10:10.
That is not Pure Undefiled Religion-James 01:27 nor does it Coincide with GOD'S WORD which Informs us of the consequences of sin & rebellion against GOD-Genesis 6:5, Isaiah 59:2 Romans 6:23 or 2 Peter 1:19-20 which Declares, "We Have THE PROPHETIC WORD CONFIRMED Which We do Well to Heed as a Light that Shines in a dark place, Until the Day Dawns & The Morning Star Rises In Our Hearts Knowing that No Prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, for PROPHECY NEVER CAME BY the will of man, BUT HOLY Men OF GOD Spoke as They Were Moved BY THE HOLY SPIRIT".
I guess they also override Revelation 22:18-19 that says, "If anyone adds to these things, GOD WILL ADD to him the plagues that ARE WROTE IN THIS BOOK(The Holy Bible); and if anyone takes Away from THE WORDS OF THE BOOK OF THIS PROPHECY, GOD SHALL TAKE AWAY his part from THE BOOK OF LIFE."
My fear must be with THE ONE WHO IS ABLE TO SAVE & DESTROY THE SOUL & The Life-James 4:12. What does it profit me to gain earthly things that will perish & Lose My Soul which has Potential to Be Redeemed-Galatians 3:13?
The profit is minimal to say the least. Eternal Life on the flip side of Obedience Is Guaranteed The Faithful-Matthew 17:20 & Romans 5:1.
In his book the darkness and the dawn Charles Swindoll really depicts the sufferings CHRIST ENDURED on the Behalf of sinful man.

After suffering with Christ the believer will share in the glory of Christ (2 Tim. 2:12; 1 Pet. 4:13; 5:10).
We get excited and blush when awarded ceremonies that require costly attire at an expensive hotel or Banquet hall that only serves to epitomize the GIFTS OF GOD.
If One Learns To Abide, Obey, Pray, Repent, and Serve GOD ALMIGHTY "eyes have Not seen, ears have not heard, neither has it entered into the hearts of man, all THE GLORY OF GOD'S BEAUTIFUL CANAAN LAND"-1 Corinthians 2:9!
JESUS from the Encounter with John The Baptist at the River Jordan-Luke 3:21-23 to the Mount of Olives in the Garden of Gethsemane-Luke 22:39-53 even the hill of Golgotha in Aramaic & Calvary in Latin-Luke 23:26-56 on a rugged cross, Gave very simple examples of how we should behave when faced with situations and adversity-Luke 12:57-59 & John 3:10-21, ridicule-John 4:9-26, taunts-John 7:25-36, blaspheme-John 8:13-20, discrimination-John 7:40-44, rejection-John7:45-52, false accusations-Mark 7:1-13 and even death-Luke 23:44-24.
At no point was there mention of fighting or defending or murdering in THE NAME OF GOD, but humility and kindness to diffuse the tension of anger-Proverbs 15:1-18
"A Merry Heart makes a Cheerful Countenance, But by sorrow of the heart the Spirit is broken.
The Heart of him who Has Understanding Seeks Knowledge, but the mouth of a fools feed on foolishness.

Better is a Little with the Fear(Reverence/Honor) of THE LORD, than great treasure with trouble.
Better is a dinner of herbs where Love is, than a fatted calf with hatred.
A wrathful man stirs up strife but He who is slow to anger Allays(calm) contention."
Pray to Surrender your will for THE WILL OF GOD and do not allow your flesh to rise against your Spirit successfully. It is sure that trials and tribulations come but We Should Not perpetuate evil by refusing to put self under control-Galatians 5:22-26
